Volta Belting Technology is a pioneer manufacturer of thermo-elastic belting material and its main application in the Food Industry.
Volta gives personal attention to its customers and their requirements. The material selected is certified for the food industry and great care is taken in fabrication to ensure the integrity of the 100% homogenous belting with continuing improvements being developed to ensure the end product has a low propensity to trap food particles and harbour bacteria as well as offering huge cost and environmental savings in resources. These savings can quickly be verified by logging the significant reduction in water and detergents used, as well as the very quick cleaning times where laborious dismounting and soaking of belts is eliminated.
Volta’s products have gained wide acceptance in sensitive sectors such as fish, poultry, meat, bakeries, cheese production and fruit and vegetable processing.
The belting is easy to install and resistant to wear having neither fabric plies which swell and fray nor the traditional finger splicing which rubs and abrades in many situations.
Fabricated belt parts such as cleats, side walls, guide runners and tracking marks are all integrated by HF welding (or specially-extruded electrodes) from identical material. No adhesives or secondary material is used.
